When I saw the gameplay reveal trailer for MindsEye I knew it would be something that I want to play right away. This incredible looking third-person shooter, developed by Build A Rocket Boy and published by IO Interactive Partners, is set to launch on June 10th, 2025.
MindsEye takes place in the near future where the main character, Jacob Diaz, is a former soldier whose neural implant is giving him fractured visions of a mission he doesn't remember doing. It sounds similar to stories like Jason Bourne and that kind of thing, which I enjoy. Mix that with some Fast and the Furious and here we go.
A new cinematic trailer just released today along with the announcement of the game's launch date and the option to pre-order it. I don't really like the new story trailer but I think I'm just not the intended audience. The story itself is something I usually really like so I'm already sure I'm gonna enjoy this game. Robots, corrupt politicians (hopefully gettin killed), and driving and shooting action is usually an entertaining time. Check out a movie called 6 Underground if you haven't. It's really good.
The pre-order of MindsEye includes what will later be sold separately as the "Deluxe Edition Upgrade." The Deluxe Edition has some extra skins for your character, vehicles, drone, and weapons. It also includes extra content missions and a Horde Mode Mission. I hope the horde mode is as fun as it sounds.
MindsEye will be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The price is $59.99. I am very excited for this game. Thanks for reading. Game on.
