Stampede: Racing Royale Received An Amazing Final Game Update

Stampede: Racing Royale is a super cute and fun free-to-play battle-royale kart racer. I haven't played a whole lot but I did really enjoy what I played. The track design is really great. I would say the intended audience is younger people since the gameplay mechanics are simple and slower-paced than some of the more advanced racing type games.

Sadly, the developer has announced today that the game will be shutting down in three months with no exact date yet. Before that happens, all new content has been added including four new tracks, eight new karts, xbox achievements, and a season to play through. I just recently spoke on how I've seen many wonderful games shut down after having a really big and cool update in my I love Riders Republic vlog (time stamped). It's weird and sucks to see a game shut down after getting even better.

I'm the kind of gamer that will play a game up until it closes if I enjoy it. So, don't let the news of this shutting down keep you from giving it a try. As mentioned, Stampede: Racing Royale is for a younger audience newer to gaming but of course it can still be fun for teens and adults.

Here is the official announcement if interested. If you're unfamiliar with how these announcements work on Steam, click on the thumbnail preview linked on their forum and it will pop-out the information article. I'm not sure why it works that way, that's just how it is.

Good luck to the developers of Sumo Digital / Sumo Leamington with future work. I'm sorry to see the game shut down. My vlog impressions are linked below at the bottom. Thanks for reading. Game on.
