Steam Spring Sale 2025: My Wishlist Picks

What's up! I'm here to share games from my Steam Wishlist that are on sale during this Spring Sale event. These sales are usually the same as the weekly ones or what used to be daily ones. There's almost never an actual better deal or noticeable discount during these events in comparison to the normal every day/weekly/monthly sales.

There was a time in the past where these events did matter more because they offered much better discounts but it has not been like that for a long time. I'm not saying these deals are not good. I'm saying that these types of events used to have more meaning and better discounts than the normal ones. That's all. A lot of these deals are great, they're just normal deals.

Anyways, here are picks from my wish list! I'm not sharing this cuz I expect you to buy them for me or anything. I'm sharing games that I'm interested in and think that maybe you might be too. But do feel free to buy me any. Here I am on Steam. 😃

    * SoulTail for $0.71, normal price is $5.99. I'm not exactly sure what this is. It looks like a mix between TCG and tower-defense. I had recently started looking at TCG-like games and this was one of the many I came across. I thought it looked entertaining so added it to my list for whenever I felt like picking it up to try it out. It has no reviews at all and no posts on the forums so I'm guessing that it's possible nobody has even heard of it. It released in April 2024.

     * Soundfall for $4.49, normal price is $29.99. I dunno. It looks neat.

     * Project Nimbus: Complete Edition $1.04, normal $6.99, soundtrack bundle for $1 more. It looks fun and cool.

     * Eden Genesis $5, normal price is $24.99 and the normal deal price this drops down to is $7.50 so this is the best price I've seen on it. It looks really cool and has a demo. I haven't tried it yet. They also have an auto-shoot survivor like game.

     * Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales $4, normal $19.99. Like I said, recently got into TCG stuff. I'm not super jumpy on this one because I never really got into The Witcher still but I'm interested.

     * Speed Limit $1.99, normal $9.99. Funny cuz I literally just added this to my wishlist. I was looking at another game that just reminded me of this one. I had received a review copy when it was new (that was very cool) on my PS4. It was a lot harder than I was expecting it to be. I thought it was just gonna be a super cool action platformer but it's all about memorizing the exact this and that. -lol- It's a cool game and sometimes I get in the mood for stuff like it.

     * The Crown of Wu $4.59, normal $19.99. Looks fun and cool. Has a demo.

     * Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist : Link Evolution $9.99, normal $39.99. TCG phase.

     * Raji: An Ancient Epic $6.24, normal $24.99. A neat game I never beat. Had played some on xbox game pass.

     * Slay the Spire $6.24, normal $24.99. TCG / Deckbuilder phase thanks to Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles.

     * Mayhem Brawler $4.99, normal $19.99. Just looks like fun.

     * Splinter Cell Blacklist $7.49 normal $29.99. Just always wanted to play through it.

     * Greak: Memories of Azur $4.99, normal $19.99. Great demo. There's also a decent indie bundle on the same store page that includes the game that you might want to look at as well.

     * Duke Nukem Forever $4.99, normal $19.99. I completed this on OnLive a long time ago. Found it to be pretty entertaining. Just wanna play again for the heck of it. Not a priority buy at all.

     * Arcanium: Rise of Arkhan $4.99, normal $19.99. TCG phase.

     * The Lord of the Rings: Adventure Card Game - Definitive Edition $4.99, normal $19.99. TCG phase.

     * Banners of Ruin $4.99, normal $19.99. There are also DLC bundles. TCG phase.

     * Trials of Fire $4.99, normal $19.99. TCG phase.

     * Neoverse $4.99, normal $19.99. There's also a costume skin bundle. I had tried this briefly in xbox game pass quite awhile back but I was not in the mood for TCGs at the time.

     * Dandy Ace $4.99, normal $19.99. Looks fun.

     * Power Chord $4.99, normal $19.99. Looks awesome. TCG phase.

     * Strayed Lights $3.24, normal $12.99. Not a priority for me as I'm not often in the mood for souls-like or boss rush games but I do love the art style of this.

     * Uragun $2.49, normal $9.99. I'm not too sure about this one. I like mechs, I like twin-stick shooters, I like the visuals here. These games usually just end up being kind of... off? Like clunky or too easy or just mostly meh. But it's inexpensive and looks neat so it's just on my list.

     * Songs of Conquest $9.79, normal $34.99. Inspired by Heroes of Might & Magic III and such, this indie looks really damn good. I have not been in the mood for games like this in a long time but sometimes I think I am. Not too long ago I picked up a couple HoMM games on sale for when I'm in the mood but I haven't been in that mood yet. This looks great.

     * Them and Us $11.99, normal $34.99. Cool looking game that reminds me of Resident Evil. They also offer a bundle that includes their previous game that also looks cool. Oh I forgot this has a demo. I haven't tried it yet.

     * Detroit: Become Human $11.99, normal $39.99. Man, this game used to be on sale for $5 all the time. Bastards. I own and have completed this on PS4 so it's not a priority for me. Really great story. If you're not familiar with these types of games, they're basically interactive movies with a little more gameplay on your part as you control the character to walk around. Beyond: Two Souls is my favorite of these by Quantic Dream but I still haven't played through Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy and I still plan to one day.

     * The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story $8.99, normal $29.99. Also has a DLC bundle. There's a demo. I loved it. I have zero interest in the main League of Legends game but I really liked the demo for this one.

     * Marble It Up! Ultra $8.99, normal $29.99. Just looks like fun.

     * Takara Cards $7.49, normal $14.99. TCG phase. Would definitely be closer to the bottom of my list of the genre though for now.

     * Yet Another Fantasy Title $5.99, normal $19.99. Fun demo. Entertaining. Seems like basically a re-skin of Rustler which is a hilarious and fun game that I still haven't beat yet.

     * Liberte $5.99, normal $19.99. Cool looking roguelike.

It took me two hours to put this together. I don't know why and I didn't realize but as it kept going I thought to myself, this is taking too damn long. I'm done, man. Screw going on. Apparently this sale event has almost every game in existence on sale. -lol- When I first started this post I was assuming I might come across more special discounts but that never happened. Feel free to share any of your recomendations in the comment section.

In case you hadn't realized, the comments of "TCG phase" refer to me just being at a time where I really enjoy the genre. Thanks for reading. Game on.
